About GEDCOM Files

A GEDCOM file is a database of individuals that has been saved or
converted to a GEDCOM file format.  There are many genealogy
database programs available.  The LDS Church offers
a FREE program entitled Personal Ancestral File (PAF).  Ancestry.com also
offers a program entitled Family Tree Maker.

If you need more help with GEDCOM files, send us an e-mail.
