Since November, 2003
this web site has become more popular with genealogy researchers. In
January, 2004 we had over 200 visitors and I expect that to grow as the word
gets around. One of the best methods for locating information about
ancestors is to communicate with other researchers. I have found
information for two of my grandparents by sending e-mails to other researchers.
I encourage you to sign up for the
Researchers List and post your e-mail
address, along with the surnames you are researching. I also encourage you
to send e-mails to others who are researching common surnames. Visit the
Message Board
often. Check the What's News Page every time you visit. New items are
posted to that page along with the date of posting. Sign up for the
Mailing List to
receive updates and our new bi-monthly newsletter. The Newsletter will
contain a list of new items and a few tips to guide you in your research.
I am now soliciting contributions to the newsletter. If you have some
research tips, a
photo, a genealogy web site or other information to assist genealogy
research, please contribute
it the newsletter.
The first edition of the
Newsletter will be published in March, 2004. It will be e-mailed to
those who have signed up for the
Mailing List
and to all those on the
Researchers List.
Please look for it in your mail box soon. It will also be posted on this
web site along with all previous newsletters which will be added to the
archives.
New photos are
featured on our main page. If you have photos of ancestors listed on this
web site,
Send your photos attached to an e-mail,
along with information about the person/people in the photo.
Thank you for your participation
and help.
