"Lest We Forget"

One cannot be involved in genealogy research for long without forming some opinions, observations and views about our ancestors and humanity in general.  I believe genealogy can provide a valuable service to our world by helping us put things into better perspective.  Sometimes life pulls us along at a pace so rapid that we lose track of where we're going and why.  Today's modern world full of new technologies, opportunities and rapid change can sometimes overwhelm us, and taking time to look at the overall picture is a worthwhile endeavor.  Learning from history is also important, and forming opinions of today's critical issues can be served by widening our perspective.  To that end, we present a new section of the web site to share views and observations, and to share stories about the past that may shed some light on the present and the future.

Please take a few minutes to complete and submit the questionnaire below.  Results of the submissions will be published here on an ongoing basis.  You may choose whether you would like your name and email address published along with your answers.  Thank you for sharing.
