I'm certain Peter is Seth's brother. I had thought the nephew livingwith Seth in 1880 was, hopefully, Melvina's, but Peter also has a nephewin the 1860 census living with him and I can't read this name either---It might be the same last name on both census's. (1999) Both areMelvina EARIXSON's nephews or something.

ALSO!!!-- Peter has no wife on either census, but had a one year old withhim in 1860 and another son 2 years later listed in 1880. I listed the"Miller-age 37" from the 1860 census, as Peter's brother with Catharineas the Mother. I got Catharine from William's listing. Seth and Williamlived two houses apart in 1880

her age is 36, (see #3 below) It also lists a brother-in-law, IsaacErixson, age 46, a widower & nephew Wm. M. Erixson age 6, living withthem.

LAST NAME IS documented in the Book "Gone Home" by Eileen Derr.

Melvina - SOURCES:
Born: 1839 or 1844 in Missouri (census & daughters Pension Affidavitthat Melvina signed disagree).

Resided in Oregon, Holt Co., MO in 17 June 1892. She testified fordaughter, Sophia A. Walker's, pension application.

#4. In a sworn statement for daughter Sophia to get a Widow's Pension,she states (with her Mark) her age as 53, making her born in 1839. Iwill go by this date of birth. Who knows who gave the 1880 census.
