On 6 April 1765 Elizabeth, widow of James Jr., daughter of William Ellyson, & "a late member of Black Creek PM", disowned for marriage out of unity & without the consent or knowledge of her parents.16

On 7 August 1776 at Hanover Co., Virginia, Maddox Stanley to his son John 106 acres (same was to him by Alice Edward Power 6 Oct 1768.) Witnesses Charles Crenshaw, Joshua Stanley and Thomas Stanley.26

On 17 November 1788 at Hanover Co., Virginia, Maddox Stanley to his son Obediah Stanley 20 acres adjacent to Littleberry Stanley - Cedar Creek.26

On 10 February 1847 at Cedar Creek Meeting House, Hanover Co., Virginia, It was reported that in 1798 Maddox conveyed the land on which Cedar Creek MH stands to the following trustees: Benjamin Bates, Lemuel Crew, William Henry Pleasants, Moses Stanley, Joshua Stanley, Joseph Terrell and Benjamin Vaughn.27
