184. David D. FOWLER (Benjamin Nicholas ? FOWLER , Elizabeth DEVORE , Jeremiah ? , Nicholas , Nicholas ) was born about 1836 in Ohio. He died in 1905 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was buried in Lewis Cemetery, Lewis Twp., Pottawatamie County, Iowa.

Notes: David and Martha (1880 census) were living in Mills County, Iowa and by 1888 they had moved north to Harrison County. Martha is buried in the Magnolia Cemetery with her daughter Olive Eve. Nancy A. died about 1887. There is an unmarked grave between Martha and Olive Eve, she may be buried there. I can't prove it but I think she died of child birth, a Charles Weaver Fowler is born about this time and lived with the grandfather (1900 census) and then moved to North Dakota with James (1910 census). Charles Weaver later married and both he and his wife died of TB. (His death cert. stated mother and father unknown). They had no children. This whole family suffered from TB, also my g-grandmother Emma and 3 of her 4 children died from TB. Lucky for me, my grandmother, Fanny, lived.
