KY Deeds; Book A; p. 235-6; 29 Mar 1813; George & Jane of Garrard sell land in Albemarle to Thomas Naylor. George is positively linked to Thomas Naylor of Albemarle in his rejected will; 24 Dec 1835; Madison Co. KY; in which he names his grandaughter Elizabeth Stormes. Thomas Naylor of Albemarle names Elizabeth Storms as his daughter.

The will of Isaac Nailor of Fayette Co., KY as listed in the Fayette Co., KY Records V.5, page 246 - entry in will book p189..In the will, Isaac bequeaths to his son JOHN NAILOR the saddle which is to in full for his part. (other survivors are bequeathed a little more substantial inheritance, indicating that perhpas John and his father Isaac, were not on the best of terms) Other children of Isaac as listed in his will are:Elizabeth, Sally, Polly, Samuel, and Nancy.. Benjamin Fowler age 45+ was living in Oxford, Butler, Ohio in 1820 along with two sons: James and Jeremiah. Benjamin was in Madison Co, Kentucky in 1800 along with Jeremiah and Joseph Fowler who were both sons of Jeremiah Fowler and Drucilla Isaac (Jeremiah was the son of Thomas Fowler and Susannah Ijams). Jeremiah did not have a documented son named Benjamin, therefore he was probably a nephew.
It is probable that Benjamin was a descendant of Thomas Fowler and Susannah Ijams due to his migration patterns and proximity to other descendants and allied families. A Joseph Fowler transferred a military land warrant to Andrew Ellison in the Miami Valley of Ohio in 1815 (500 acres) and it is possible that Benjamin Fowler was related to this Joseph - possibly his brother. Joseph Fowler was in Fayette Co, PA in 1800 and Andrew Ellison was there in 1810. (about a dozen descendants of Thomas Fowler and Susannah Ijams were in Fayette Co, PA from 1790 to 1800). There was a younger Joseph Fowler living in Wayne Twp, Butler OH in 1820 age 26-45 who was probably the son or nephew of Benjamin. The older Joseph Fowler may have died before 1820 or he may have moved to Boone County, KY which is located next to Hamilton Co, Ohio and very near Butler Co. A Joseph Fowler age 45+ was in Burlington, Boone Co, KY in 1820 along with a Benjamin Fowler age 26-45 who may have been his son.
Benjamin was in Butler Co, Ohio by 1808 because his son James Fowler was married to Elizabeth Devore in that county in 1808. Benjamin named one of his sons Jeremiah, therefore making a possible connection to Jeremiah Fowler and Drucilla Isaac who were also in Madison, KY in 1800. Thomas Fowler and Susannah Ijams had a son Benjamin who died probably before 1790 in Anne Arundel, MD. Our Benjamin may have been his son who migrated to Kentucky to be with his uncle Jeremiah after his father's death.
Benjamin has not been located in the 1790 Federal census, however, the widow of the elder Benjamin - Hammutal Stinchcomb Fowler - was in Anne Arundel, MD in 1790. There was one male over 16, one male under 16 and 2 females in her household. It is possible that the male over 16 was Benjamin, the male under 16 was James and one of the females was the wife of Benjamin. Hammutal may have died before 1800 since she is not found after 1790 in census records. Other references to a Benjamin Fowler have been found in the Maryland Archives but it is not possible to determine which Benjamin Fowler they were referring to - there were several Benjamin Fowlers in Anne Arundel and Prince Georges, MD.

Marcia - I found some connections between the Duvalls and the Fowlers in Darke OH which is near Butler OH. A Hezekiah Fowler married Isabella Duvall April 10 1821 in Darke Co, OH. He was born abt 1785 in MD. She was born abt 1800 in PA. Further research revealed that Isabella's father was Daniel Duvall who may have been in Prince George, MD in 1790 - an older Daniel was there with one young male (see below). Her father was in Springhill Fayette, PA in 1800 and 1810 and Darke Co, OH in 1820. Isn't Springhill the same town that John D. Fowler was in? I think Hezekiah was a descendant of Thomas Fowler and Susanna Iiams. Others listed in Prince Geo MD in 1790 included Thomas, William, Joseph, Samuel and Abraham. Thomas Sr. died in that county. His sons were William, Thomas, John, Benjamin, Samuel, Jeremiah and Benoni. I think some of those Fowlers on the Oath of Fidelity list of 1778 were his descendants.
Hezekiah Fowler may have been a son of one of the Fowlers in Fayette PA in 1800-1810 since he married the daughter of Daniel Duvall who was in Fayette PA when his son Harden was born there in 1813. This doesn't mean Hezekiah was also there, but it's a good possiblity. A Thomas Fowler with 2 young males was on the 1790 Prince Geo MD list (gone in 1800) and 2 Thomas Fowlers were in Fayette PA in 1800 but neither had sons the right age. A Thomas Fowler was also in Darke OH in 1820 age 45+ along with a John Fowler age 26-45 and Daniel Fowler b. in MD abt. 1793. Although the 1800 profile for Thomas shows 1 male 0-5 and 3 males 5-10, he may be the one who was in Darke OH in 1820 and the father of Hezekiah, John and Daniel - the ages may be off a few years or the 1800 census may have errors.
Of those who were born in MD still living in 1850 Ohio - I compiled a list below. There were several Johns. Another interesting list would be those who were born in PA between 1800 and 1819 and went to OH. I'll do that one next.
Lots of analyzing and guessing going on, but one thing leads to another - or at least helps to rule people out. I have a feeling Hezekiah, Daniel, John and Thomas of Darke OH were related to one or both of the Fowlers you and I are researching.

A different Benjamin Fowler:
In 1782 Benjamin FOWLER, a young Englishman who had participated as a British soldier in the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown the previous year, traversed the distance from New York to the Briar creek valley on horseback. Here he formed the acquaintance of a Miss FOWLER, whose family had but recently entered the region. He conceived a strong attachment for her, and amid the multiplied labors of his first year on the frontier, found time to learn that his feelings were reciprocated. The marriage that ensued might be chronicled as the first in Centre township, if there had been a clergyman in the vicinity to perform the ceremony. Under the circumstances a journey was made to Reading, where the wedding was celebrated.
