Notes

215. James Ervin (or Irvin) HOLLOWAY

James was a farmer and also did carpentry work. As a boy of 15 he wored as a cowboy, herding Texas cattle on Kansas grass to fatten them before they were sold. He died from a stroke brought on by a broken hip received from falling off a kitchen charir. The moral of this mus be, "Don't break your sitter". He was a great old man, generous and quiet spoken, friendly and so had very few enemies.
