!LIFE:"Born in England and came into Virginia with his parents about orbefore 1662. Resided in Stafford Co. VA. Died in Stafford Co. VA about1690.
Married Mary__________ and had issue."

His Will, dated 12 August 1689 and proved in Court 7 April 1690, StaffordCo. VA.

"The Will book for this period in Stafford Co. is missing. We(Roy), havethe index to the book only and the Court orders for that time. Deeds ofthe descendants of this Robert (2), in their transfers of lands whichthey held from bequests made in his will, give the references to him andestablish their
line of descent from him. It has seem less confusing in arrangement ofthis lineage to place the abstracts of all of these records in theappendix for comparison and examination."

As of Jan 1996, EA does not have that appendix. Nor in July 1997. I'mstill not convinced that John Allen who married Elener King is the fatherto ZK. No proof anywhere that I know of. I hope it will turn out to beby the "Preponderance of Evidence," if not by fact.

He had a wife named Ann. He held 850 acres of his father's estate andsold it
in 1718.
