He removed to Canaan, Connecticut, and had a farm adjoining that of Zebulon Stevens. Mr. Partridge died June 4, 1771. *The above information was obtained from the "Stephens/Stevens Genealogy" by Plowdon Stevens (1909). Notes for ZEBULON STEPHENS: Zebulon Stephens/Stevens was born at Plainfield, Connecticut February 25, 1717. He was of Canaan, Connecticut June 21, 1743. November 25, 1743, he married Miriam, daughter of Ephraim and Mary Fellows, who was born at Plainfield, Connecticut, April 2, 1726, and died at Canaan, May 25, 1773. Mr. and Mrs. Stephens were members of the Congregational Church. Zebulon Stephens/Stevens married, second, October 13, 1773, Thankful (Stephens) widow, of James Partridge.
