"Liz, When you have time could you look in the Averill book to see ifthere is a Mary AVERIL listed? Mary was born 1 Oct. 1809, New York anddied 1 May 1855 Copley, Summit Co. Ohio. She married Edwin FAIRBANKS ca1831 in N.Y. They left for Ohio in 1839 after their first 3 sons wereborn. More children born in Ohio. I have a death certificate for Mary'sdaughter Almira, listing Mary's maiden name , but it is unreadable. It isbelieved that Mary is an Averill. One of Mary's sons, Henry married aMrs. Margaret Averill in Ohio.

Edwin FAIRBANKS also owned land in Ohio with a Benjamin Averill in 1839.Any help please. Thanks.

Ohio. She may have brother Benjamin. A Benjamin Averill and EdwinFairbanks owned land jointly in Medina Co., Ohio. Edwin is father of theabove Henry.
The Fairbanks family resided in N.Y. until abt 1830 when they left forOhio."
