Message: My Grandmother was Ida May Branson from the Rolla Missouri area. She was born in Maries county Mo her father was Andrew Jackson Branson. I am sure that either her brother or one of her uncles has Branson, MO named after them as they were a merchant in what is now Branson. Mostly they lived in the Phelps County, Osage County Missouri area.
However, my Grandmother and her 12 children moved to St.Louis in 1920.
