I am researching a possible marriage between a Mary Branson and an Anzil (Ansel) Gaddis. Anzil was born abt. 1804 in Randolph County, NC. Some researchers have listed Mary Branson #332, daughter of Levi Branson and Grace Fruit as his wife. Anzil and his wife Mary have a a son named John Branson Gaddis. Are there any records that would indicate that Mary may have remarried after marrying Living? I have not found in marriage records for Anzil in the county records. I am also interested in an earlier Mary Branson (#18)who marries Zacharia Robins. Zachariah marries a Mary Gibson in NJ. The Gibsons also migrated from NJ to NC and settled in Orange County and later Randolph. I look forward to hearing from you. dawnvs@hotmail.com
